For this book, I created around 70 watercolor illustrations that bring to life the atmosphere of the old manor, nature, and the characters’ inner transformation. At the beginning of each chapter I created a floral watercolor illustration featuring plants native to England. This project was a very special journey for me into the world of childhood, nature, and renewal.
The book received one of the “Book of the Year 2018" in Ukraine awards, and the first print run of 2000 copies, published in two languages each, was completely sold out. In 2024, a second edition was released, again warmly welcomed by readers.
For the book, both colored watercolor illustrations and black-and-white pencil sketches were created.
For each chapter of this book, I painted a floral watercolor illustration featuring plants native to this region of England. Totally 27 watercolor's plants.
